Coal mining comes alive in the Osterwald visitor mine

The mine is open to visitors all year round and offers a fascinating underground world. Under expert guidance, you will experience the arduous work of coal mining. You will understand the work of the coal miners and the laborious transport of the coal to daylight.

A guided tour lasts about 1.5 hours. The permanent temperature underground is 8 degrees. Warm clothing and sturdy shoes are a must, even in summer.
